A: Cost for similar projects can vary greatly, depending on materials chosen. It is best to have a budget range in mind when approaching a project. This usually involves trade-offs between needs and wants. Start by making a list of needs and wants. You can call us for a general price information.

Q: Does this make sense for me to do?

A: This depends on many factors, i.e. how long do you see yourself staying in your home, your immediate need to solve a problem, will the project raise your home value, are others in your neighborhood also making improvements, the rate of return, how long you stay there will determine whether the project makes sense.

Q: How can we save money?

A: Quality and craftsmanship are your best value. Cost effective design also is a very large factor. You can save money by doing some of the work yourself. For instance, you can shop for competitively priced materials. We have a list of our suppliers who provide service and quality for the least amount of headaches. Sometimes mixing less expensive items with quality focal points is the answer. Our design team can provide that.

Q: How long will the job take?

A: After we have a signed proposal, we provide a start-to-finish schedule, with day-to-day activities listed and a selection list for items to choose prior to start of job.

Q: What are the best materials for my jobs?

A: Materials are always changing, and sometimes it takes awhile to evaluate their quality and durability. We like to work with tried and true materials, but we are always evaluating new materials as they come out.

A: Yes, remodeling typically involves a mess and is a disruption in your lifestyle. Good planning can minimize both. We show you how to accomplish that.

Q: When can you start?

A: We do jobs in the order that signed proposals are received. The more planning ahead that you can do, the better.
